Before building my own brands, I led international franchise development across 70+ markets worldwide. I've seen how systems scale, where they stall, and why most concepts that work brilliantly in one country quietly collapse in another.

The pattern was consistent: franchisors replicate the product. They rarely replicate the business model. They go global, but they don't go local. And they treat the franchisee relationship as a sales transaction — not a co-creation partnership.
